Senior HVAC Engineer (M/F/D) – Dresden, Germany

Our Multinational Client is looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer, to work in Dresden, Germany!

Your Role:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC systems (m/f/d) to join our team. The chosen candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to create construction documents for a variety of systems, including HVAC wet/dry, plumbing, controls, and related systems.

Responsibilities:

– Performing engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems in diverse facilities such as cleanrooms, manufacturing/process plants, and institutional buildings;

– Conducting mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC system designs, including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, and equipment selection;

– Collaborating with other disciplines to incorporate their inputs into deliverables and ensuring seamless coordination;

– Providing on-site project support and making technical decisions to drive project success;

– Contributing to the development of studies and design procedures to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of work;

– Maintaining close collaboration with the project team, other disciplines, and external design offices;

– Assisting in the creation of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including sizing and selection calculations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and system sequences of operation.

Requirements:

– Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required;

– Several years of professional experience with TGA and clean room technology systems ideally in the semiconductor industry;

– General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems;

– Good knowledge in the design of HVAC systems;

– Proficiency in German is required, knowledge of English would be an advantage;

– Strong teamwork and communication skills.
